Situated within a defunct naval base, this park is on the northwest tip of the island of Alameda in the bay of San Francisco. You can see downtown San Francisco while skating. It is a very cool location.
If you don't mind wandering through cool neighborhoods follow these directions: from Oakland, take the "tube" to Alameda and then drive northwest, northwest, northwest. You will drive through the hollow and empty naval base. Follow another if they look like they are headed there.
