Bear Creek also hosts a classic movie in
the open air ampitheater Saturday nights. It is free and starts at
dusk. Bring a blanket and some homemade popcorn. I was able
to catch Shane, an old western, after a day at the skatepark, super cool.
Here is a schedule.
History:
Overall: 7/8 out of 10
Misc.
More often than not there is a police officer
on bicycle at the skatepark or nearby.
Helmets are required. Bikes are not allowed
in the skatepark, but there is discussion about designating seperate times
for only bmx. There is a new dirt track adajcent to the parking lot.
That yellow hot dot is excellent. A pump from it
can send you up the quarter at right.
You could drive a school bus in these bowls. The
close bowl is 11' and the far is about 7'.
The lore is that sometimes "the folks" come and have
super gnarly sessions.
A creative and artistic detail well done.
